Critique Corner - no. 1

Every few days, I'll post a photo, open for your critique. A great way to train your eye is to verbalize your thoughts on a photograph.

The photo for critique may be one of my own photos or one submitted by you. Remember, you can email your photos for critique to oac@dolcepics.com with subject line "critique". If you would like me to critique it for you privately, please let me know and I won't post it on the blog.

The format for critiquing is:

1. What do you like about the photo?

2. What would you do differently?

Leave your critique in the comments section for this entry.

Here's your first one!

I'll guess I'll be the first to go!

1. I love the soft light and colours and of course those chubby knees!

2. A tighter crop would've been nice and I wish I had angled the camera so that Daddy's foot wasn't in the way.

Ok, it's your turn!

I really love the cute little knees too, and the great pink socks with the bow! The rule of thirds was used nicely here, and I enjoy the simplicity. A little photoshop would take care of Daddy's foot nicely!
